Boy Am I Behind...

Well, I just plugged in my memory card for our camera and bunches of photos popped up that needed to be loaded, well that just showed me how busy and behind I am...Well, usually once Halloween is here, our lives go into full throttle, Halloween, Noah's birthday, Thanksgiving, Kyli's birthday, Christmas, New Year's, Mike's Birthday and Valentine's day.  Once we hit Valentine's Day everything calms down,  life gets easier and I am thankful to have experienced the mass chaos to remind of all our blessings and what calm and quiet feels like.  So on a point to make myself feel better, we have already experienced Halloween, Noah's bday, Thanksgiving and Kyli's birthday is next week.  The little monkey will be 2!! She has changed so much and you should here her talk.  The things she says awes me everyday and let me tell you....I love that little girl so dang much!  She has added quite a little BIG personality to the  family.  Noah and her are so amazing, I could just watch the 2 of them together forever.  I can and cannot wait to see how their dynamics change and how close they are going to be once they get older.  Their relationship can withstand anything, I know it.  They have their fights already but the love they have is so strong. Tangent, sorry. Anyway, from the looks of it, we are about half through our busy months and in all honesty, it seems to have been easier so far this year, than the few last.  I think it is because of my awesome job and only having to work 32 hours a week instead of 40+.  It has made such difference on everything!  I am happier, more energetic, and LOVE being able to spend more time with the kiddos. It has been amazing!

So I am just going to throw some pics on here of what I have missed....

We recently took the kiddos to Casa Bonita, because well, we had too.  It is just a place they needed to experience and while food has not gotten better, it has not gotten worse, but the shows as cheesey as they were have gotten better and the kiddos LOVED IT!!! Not many photos, Mommy of the year award, battery died.

Noah watching his first show....

Kyli trying to find the Mariachi band...She loves music!

Nana holding Kyli so she can see the Mariachi band

We also have made it a tradition, that we go and have Breakfast with Santa each year.  This year we had a blast, Noah enjoyed the crafts....He enjoyed it much more than the photo shows.
And Kyli enjoyed getting a prize from the Disney Station for being one of the first kiddos to start dancing...
She also LOVED this Eggland's Best Egg, she kept following him around everywhere!!!  She didn't stop following him until I took this pic and it to her.  We just went there the other day and she was yelling "Mommy, Where egg?!" at me while we went through the food court.

While we were waiting to get our pics with Santa, I thought I might try getting a few of my own, what  bad idea...they just wanted to roam and look at anything but me so this is the best I got before I gave up...

My family has started laughing at me because the reason I first started doing Breakfast with Santa was because of the H1N1 virus.  They first year, we did it I was preggo and figured that if Noah had his photo done the first day Santa was doing pics, the germs on Santa would be less than a week or so later and would be safest for us since Mike was gone and I was about to have Baby Rainbow.  So, since then this is what we continue to do and we are usually one of the first 15 people to visit with Santa.  Plus, the kids have a blast seeing Santa and the line we wait in is small...

We have more to catch up on, but I think this is a good start, for now...Happy Reading and Happy Holidays to you all!!

Superhero Birthday Bash

So Noah recently had his 5th birthday.  I think I handled it with most difficulty.  He is a full hand of fingers now.  Where has the time gone?!

So we invited our favorite family and friends to help us celebrate.  We decorated superhero cookies, and let me just say...I probably was not thinking correctly, I figured we were going to decorate the cookies and then they would go home with everyone, well....it did not work that way.  We decorated cookies before cake and then while the kiddos were waiting for cake they decided to eat the cookies.  Oops, but the kids had fun and enjoyed themselves...

Anyway, Noah loved his cake and it was fun to see those who dressed in the superhero outfits.  We got some supercool toys and game and plays with them each daily.

I was super excited to show Noah his cake, we wanted something different then just one superhero so we had one specially made for Noah, and it turned out awesome!!! We had it made by A Cake Occassion, we had our wedding cake made there too, we LOVE their cakes!!

Here are some of the superheros that attended, we had such a blast and I recommend a supgerhero birthday for everyone!

Next Birthday, Kyli's Sesame Street Birthday next month!
